The story of the Eisdense Tuinwijk and its social history is told in the Museum of the Miners' Home. Thanks to the donations from the residents and the support of the municipality and the King Baudouin Foundation, Stichting Erfgoed Eisden has set up a miners home from the 1930s. In this way they present a piece of workers culture but always with the regulating power of the coal mine management in the background.
A tour of the museum takes about 1.20 hours. (max 15 people per guide)
Prices: € 50 / tour
