To Maasmechelen by bus

Thanks to several connections, you can easily reach Maasmechelen by bus. Reserve a seat on one of the ‘de Lijn’ buses. The buses that pass through Maasmechelen are 45, 61, 63, 64, 65 and 9.

To Maasmechelen by car

Do you plan on visiting Maasmechelen by car? You can use several connecting roads, from the Netherlands or Germany as well, via E314, exit 33.

To Maasmechelen by train

Would you like to go on a city trip by train? Take the train to the station of Genk, Hasselt or Maastricht. From there, there are many bus connections to Maasmechelen.

To Maasmechelen by ferryboat

This is also an option. Between Maasmechelen (Meeswijk) and the Netherlands (Berg), you can use the car ferry service every day. Hikers and cyclists are welcome too.

During the high season, there is a ferryboat for cyclists and hikers at the river Meuse between Uikhoven (BE) and Geulle (NL).
